The development of an EMP weapon, whether nuclear or non-nuclear, requires a wide range of experts: nuclear physicists, nuclear engineers, aeronautics specialists, electronics experts, microwave technology specialists, materials scientists, simulation experts, safety professionals, cybersecurity specialists, and military strategists. The Iranian program, likely disrupted through intelligence and cyber operations, highlights the strategic threat posed by EMP weapons and Israel’s capabilities in countering advanced technologies.
This was not the only program disrupted by the Israeli operation. The primary objective of the attack was to thwart Iran’s nuclear program, but it also targeted non-conventional weapons, such as a facility for developing chemical and biological warheads.
