Israel eliminated the commander of the force that abducted and murdered the Bibas family’s mother and children.

The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated the terrorist Muhammad Hassan Muhammad Awad, a military commander close to senior members of the terror organization “Kata’ib al-Mujahideen,” who raided Nir Oz, commanded the abductions of Shiri, Kfir, and Ariel Bibas, may their memory be blessed, and was likely involved in their murder. Muhammad was also responsible for the abduction and burial of Gad Haggai and Judy Lynn Weinstein, may their memory be blessed, as well as additional citizens of Thai origin.
Muhammad Awad raided Nir Oz multiple times on October 7, was one of the leaders of the massacre, and was apparently involved in the abduction and brutal murder of Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas, may their memory be blessed. Additionally, he was involved in managing the abduction and burial of Gad Haggai and Judy Lynn Weinstein, may their memory be blessed. Among other things, he was also involved in managing the abduction of citizens of Thai origin. Furthermore, as part of his role in the terror organization, Muhammad Awad, until his death, was engaged in recruiting terror operatives in the West Bank and within Israel, through whom he promoted and executed attacks against Israelis.
During the war, the terror organization “Kata’ib al-Mujahideen,” and Muhammad Awad in particular, were involved in carrying out attacks against Israel and IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip. The Shin Bet and IDF will continue to act decisively to locate and neutralize all terrorists from various terror organizations who took part in the murderous massacre on October 7, 2023.
Earlier, the blog “Intelli Times” revealed photographs of Muhammad Hassan Muhammad Awad, comparing them to a photo of operatives from the organization who commanded the abduction of Shiri Bibas and her young children, Ariel and Kfir. According to a comparison made between the operative’s photo and images analyzed from the abduction scene, an apparent match was found between the commander and one of the field operatives holding Shiri Bibas and her children.
This analysis was also conducted using the artificial intelligence “Grok,” and below are its findings:
Ear Structure:
In the first image, the man’s ear is clearly visible—it protrudes slightly, with a defined earlobe and a somewhat elongated shape. In the middle image, the ear is also visible and appears very similar in terms of shape, size, and angle. The ear structure is a relatively unique characteristic, and such similarity supports a high likelihood that it is the same person.
Head Shape and Hairline:
In the first image, the hairline is visible under the hat—short hair, likely shaved on the sides, with a slightly high hairline. In the middle image, the hairline also appears similar, despite the different angle. The head shape (the general skull structure) appears consistent between the two images.
Skin Tone and Texture:
In the first image, the skin tone of the face and neck appears light to medium. In the middle image, the skin tone of the visible arm matches the tone seen in the first image. The skin texture (e.g., pores or smoothness) appears similar to the extent observable.
Head Angle and Posture:
In the first image, the head is facing forward, while in the middle image, the head is turned to the side, so the face is not visible. However, the angle of the neck and shoulders appears natural and consistent with the body structure inferred from the first image.
Artificial Intelligence Conclusion:
Based on the ear structure, hairline, head shape, and skin tone, there is a high likelihood that the man in the middle image is the same person appearing in the first image. I estimate this likelihood at 80-85%. The reason the probability is not higher is that the facial structure itself (cheekbones, chin, forehead) is not visible in the middle image, so there is no definitive confirmation based on facial features. Nevertheless, the similarity in the comparable characteristics—especially the ears and skin tone—strongly suggests that it is very likely the same individual.
