Israel is monitoring the activities of Iranian elements who assist Hezbollah

In a separate investigation, we previously exposed the cooperation between Hezbollah and the Iranian Quds Force’s “Unit 300,” a technological unit led by Amir Lashgarian that assists in cyber operations, detection, interception, and electronic warfare, and transfers assets and operatives to Syria and Lebanon. The unit’s commander even visited Lebanon in early November 2023 to coordinate assistance with the “Lebanese Brigade” (Unit 2000) of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards.

According to a security source, Iran is conducting a combined effort through its military units and proxies in the region to weaken Israel’s ability to deal, over time, with a multi-sector campaign centered on missile threats and armed proxies on the Israeli home front. It is doing this by establishing electronic and cyber “warfare centers” to locate, intercept, and disrupt air defense capabilities that rely on diverse detection, communication, and interception systems.

The air defense systems, led by the Iron Dome and the Home Front Command’s warning system, constitute a major force multiplier in managing defense against rocket, missile, and unmanned aerial vehicle fire.

The cooperation also includes joint meetings between units and even permanent representatives of “Unit 300” stationed in Lebanon. “Knowledge centers” from Unit 300 are being sent to Lebanon to support this effort alongside engineers recruited by Iran from among former Hezbollah operatives. One of them is Dr. Ali Muhammad Hadraj, a Lebanese who was killed in his vehicle on January 20, 2024, near the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon. Hadraj served as the senior official responsible for “Unit 2500” (the Palestinian branch of the “Quds Force” in Lebanon) for the strengthening and technological assistance that Iran provides to Palestinian terrorist organizations. He acquired his education as a doctorate in electronic engineering and later as the director of the “Cyberity” company in Beirut, which deals with areas related to network traffic, wireless communications and information security products.

Now, for the first time and exclusively on the “Intelli Times” website, two more key Iranian operatives from “Unit 300” identified by their aliases and names are being revealed. The two are Ali Reza Safidhani and Reza Asadi Dolabi, who has been in Lebanon in recent years and is assisting Hezbollah. In light of the high level of involvement of these entities in assisting Hezbollah during the The “Iron Swords” War.

These activists join the activities of other Revolutionary Guards advisors with extensive academic and technological backgrounds in the field of electronics and communications.

One of them, Karim Khajjazadeh, was seen visiting Syria in January 2023, possibly to support Russian-Iranian cooperation on Syrian soil. Karim operates within the framework of the “Soroush Saman” company based in Tehran, together with “Hassan Khadem Kalan” – a former employee of the “Naser Research Institute for Communications and Electronics”. The two are signed on to a number of studies dealing with the design, simulation, production and testing of high-power broadband antennas – studies that are also suitable for military bodies involved in the development and testing of radar systems and telecommunications networks.
